EarthFest LA "Save the Date" 10th Anniversary Concert for the Environment

Los Angeles based non-profit organization California Greenworks will host the 10th Anniversary of EarthFest LA in continuing its mission to draw awareness to local environmental issues.

Los Angeles, CA – California Greenworks will be hosting a free concert and environmental expo October 20, 2018, from 10:30 AM- 7:00 PM at Media Park which is located at 9091 Culver Blvd., Culver City, CA 90232. EarthFest LA was created to raise awareness about environmental issues faced in our local urban communities here in Los Angeles County. Los Angeles City Councilman Paul Koretz of District 5 will be the Event Chair along with Culver City Councilwoman Meghan Sahli-Wells as Event Co-Chair. And our host is none-other than Assemblywoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove.

Each of our Honoraries is environmental leaders in their own right, and have placed the people and environmental justice issues at the forefront of their policymaking. They are helping to shape this event, and will each take the stage throughout the day to address the crowd.

This free environmental festival will include a main stage concert featuring AfriCali, Little Fish, and The Boys of Summer - Tribute to The Eagles. The festival is a place to learn, dance, listen to music, taste good food, and feed your spirit.

EarthFest LA is free to the public, and guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, picnic, and enjoy the family-friendly event geared toward stewardship for the environment and reduction of our own personal carbon footprints. Previous celebrities and special guests of EarthFest LA have included: Ed Begley, Jr., Ambrosia, Jonathan Parfrey of Climate Resolve, and the Honorable Herb Wesson, Jr.

Attendees of EarthFest LA are encouraged to help reduce the carbon footprint by utilizing carpooling services, public transportation, bike, or walk. Come out to learn and play, stay all day.
